This was definitely a scam call, best not to pick up. They just want you to respond so they can confirm the number works, which usually means you'll be bombarded with even more calls afterwards. After that, they'll probably pass your number on to other scammers too.

However, on the third attempt, he began posing a series of bewildering questions that were hard to follow due to his struggle with English. Quite the nuisance, I must say!

i spoke nicely to this guy who was talking in a foreign language. after i told him to stop calling and take my number off, he began ringing me like mad - about ten times daily! when i asked him to leave me alone, he got really rude and started swearing. honestly, the police should step in and deal with these kinds of people.
