I had a chap named John ring me, quite the common moniker, yet his accent was heavily Indian. Typical of these calls, he was clearly following a script, all politeness and inquiries about my well-being. Out of nowhere, he insisted that I must LISTEN for a solid 40 seconds and strictly not say a word! Naturally, I decided to test the waters and interrupted him intentionally. His reply was predictable: "You must listen and not interrupt." I thought about playing along for a bit of fun, but honestly, I’d rather count the tiles on my wall! 🤣 Interestingly, he wasn't attempting to sell me anything; it seemed he simply fancied a chat. 🙄 Well, cheers, but no thanks! 👋

I got a call from a lady with a really thick Indian accent, she wanted me to say my name to confirm who I am. I told her it’s her who’s calling and she should say who she is first. She replied, “I’m Jessica from UK United, just need a few seconds to ask 3 questions.” I just said “Togo” and told her to ask her mum instead, then I ended the call and blocked the number. This is the third time today I’ve had calls like this, all from different numbers.

Looks like a total scam to me.

Got a missed call from this number, so I decided to check it out and saw all these warnings. When some bloke rang back pretending to be from the Government, I asked how they got my number. They just kept dodging the question. After insisting they tell me where they got it from, the person said "God" and then just hung up on me.
