Got a call from some Indian lady saying she was from BT, asking how I was doing. Why on earth would BT be checking up on me like that? Total rubbish, so I just ended the call.

as soon as i answered, nothing but silence, then they hung up right away. blocked the number straight away. this is the third spam call ive gotten in just 48 hours.

Got a call but no voicemail left. Sounds like the same person nagging about my dishwasher cover being expired. Ended the call straight away. Best to ignore it - definitely a scam!

luckily i wasnt home when the phone rang from this number. I usually check unfamiliar numbers online, and after reading the reviews i see this caller is now hitting people around surrey in the UK. I'm definitely gonna report it.

Received a call claiming my washing machine cover was about to run out, and they've dropped the renewal fee to £66. Problem is, I never got any washing machine insurance in the first place. Definitely sounds like a scam to me.

I got a call from a guy telling me my washing machine insurance was nearly up for renewal. Problem is, ive never taken out any insurance on it. He was trying to get me to renew or buy some cover. Could be legit but I doubt it since I’d definitely recall getting insurance. Plus, my washer’s about 14 years old, so it seems a bit odd.
