Some guy with an Asian accent called me, said his name was Mike. Asked if I’d gotten my government cheque yet and wanted my bank details to put the money in. Honestly, do these scammers really think we’re that daft? Not the sharpest move either, leaving his own phone number behind.

this woman called me asking if i'd got a cheque from British Finance or something. she never said her name or asked mine at first. after i asked a few questions, she started trying to get personal details off me, but funny enough she didn’t even know my name herself! quite suspicious if you ask me.

this guy with a really thick accent called me up asking if i'd got my cheque and how i wanted to get paid. i didnt get what he was talking bout so i just hung up. he already knew my name and postcode which was a bit creepy. wasnt sure what country he was calling from or what the call was about. i may have been a bit harsh with him, but i blocked the number anyway just in case it was dodgy.
