got a call from some guy yesterday claiming he knew my car had been in a crash. i asked him what the reg number was, but he had no clue. then i asked when the accident happened, and again, no answer. he then went on asking if i'd ever had any accidents in the past 3 years, which i couldn’t confirm. told him to jog on right away.

Someone called saying they were from AAC and claimed I'd been in a car crash. They sounded like a bunch of clueless scousers. Whenever I asked where they got my number from (they said some accident claims list, even though I've never had an accident and they asked for a woman with a different name!) or why they were ringing, they just ended the call. A quick Google search found nothing connecting that company with the number, so it’s clearly a dodgy scam.
