somebody said they were from british gas so i asked them to tell me my last bill figure then suddenly the call just dropped on me

Got a call from someone saying they were with EDF Energy, but it was clearly an Indian call centre. They kept going on about changing the rates from Friday to Monday and pressured me for my business bank details, saying the rate would be higher without them. I agreed to the rates in general and asked them to send me the paperwork to sort out the direct debit, but they never sent anything. Definitely felt like a scam.

Got a call from some call centre in India, trying to con me into switching electricity providers for my business. Thing is, I don’t even have a fixed location as I don’t use electricity myself - I work in pubs, clubs and people's homes, using their power while on the job. Told the bloke this twice, but he just couldn’t get it and kept pushing for the switch. Proper annoying scammer, and I’m sure he’ll ring back again.
