Got a call from Jack who said he was from BT Partner Channel trying to help save money and all that nonsense. Honestly, it was just a load of rubbish. Only BT themselves can actually cut costs on a BT bill. These lot claim to be a communications firm but have no real connection with BT at all. They just want to switch your contract over to their service. Avoid them!

Every single day it's the same number, 01489 326024, ringing me. I pick up and they just cut off straight away. How long are they gonna get away with this nonsense? It’s really unfair that they can bother people over and over without any consequences. Someone should do something about it.

I asked the caller if they were actually from BT and wanted to know the reason for their call, but all they did was repeat they belonged to the BT Partner Channel before abruptly hanging up. I can't find any info about them being an official partner for home or business services, and from what I can tell, they don’t even have a website.

So yesterday I got a call from this guy and we ended up chatting for ages. I tried to trip him up by asking stuff about my BT account and surprisingly, he rang back with all the right info. Can we just take a second to think about this? When you get one of those cold calls asking loads of questions about services you already use, don’t fool yourself into thinking it’s harmless. It’s a scam, plain and simple. Don’t go giving it a pass or saying it’s safe just because they didn’t try to nick your money straight away. These callers are gathering your info and even if they aren’t doing the dirty themselves, they’ll pass your details on to others who definitely will.

I got a call from some guy called Viktor Nikruto who spoke all smooth and professional, claiming he was with BT Business Solutions and could help me get some kind of support because of the coronavirus. It struck me as a bit weird since BT usually don’t do stuff like that. The moment he couldn’t even say my name, my business, or where I’m located, it smelt fishy. I called him out on it and he just dropped the call. Proper scummy behaviour, trying to con folks during such a rough time.
