Heads up, this firm isn’t legit at all - they’re pulling a scam pretending to be from some “Credit Investigations Department”. They claim to have access to your credit info and say you’ve got unsecured credit. I reached out to the FCA about it and they’re already investigating because these people aren’t authorised and have no right to be operating. They’ll try to fleece you, so don’t fall for any of their nonsense. Best thing to do is just hang up straight away and block the number!

I received a call from a chap who had a noticeable Indian accent, claiming to be from the Government Debt Department. He was keen to chat about a supposed massive debt of mine. The funny thing is, I don’t have any debts at all! So, I swiftly reported the incident and made sure to block that number right away.

Got a call from a guy with an Asian accent claiming he was from some sort of credit investigation squad. Said he could sort things out for me, my mates, and even my family to stop creditors chasing money, whether it’s a few hundred or thousands like £7000. I was just strolling home from work, so I figured I’d listen for a bit. He quizzed me about how much debt I had, I said none. After that, he started getting all annoyed, accusing me of wasting his time or something. I reminded him that he was the one who rang me up, then he just cut the call. Proper odd.

Got a call earlier today saying they were from the CAB. Funny thing is, I had a similar call from a Maidstone number just last week. I rang the CAB directly to let them know and get some advice.
