Got a call about some PPI claim. Surely it can't be legit since all PPI claims were supposed to be done with ages ago. Seems dodgy to me.

On Thursday 21st July 2022 at about 11:35am, I missed a call from this number. Didn’t pick up and there was no message when I checked the voicemail. I looked up the number afterwards but decided not to ring back. It’s blocked now.

It’s been ages since I received a call regarding PPI. A male voice on the other end seemed to possess an unsettling amount of my personal details, which left me quite uneasy. I decided not to engage and promptly ended the call.

They called about PPI and it sounded so real, but I'm certain it’s a scam. Never ever share your bank details, especially the three numbers on the back of your card. They say it’s needed to refund your PPI but trust me, it’s not true at all. Keep your info safe!

I received a call from a PPI firm assuring me they were ready to send £2500 related to my policy with Black Horse. They requested my bank account details for the transfer, but when I insisted on receiving a cheque instead, they refused. Quite dubious, if you ask me!

Some bloke called claiming to be from Black Horse, gave me an old address I moved from over ten years ago. He knew my name and then wanted my date of birth. I didn’t give it and he just ended the call.

Got a call about life insurance and decided to throw him a bunch of questions. He barely managed to answer some, but when I kept pressing, he got annoyed and just told me I was wasting his time lol.

Picked up the phone and this bloke wanted to talk to a Ms something or other. I told him that wasn’t me, I’m Minnie Mouse actually. Next thing, he just goes dead on me. I’ve since blocked the number. I’ve had calls from numbers like 01494958 before, all about housing repair stuff. I reckon it’s some dodgy scam trying to catch people out.

Got a call from a housing upgrade firm, and some guy with an Indian accent knew my name right away. He was asking if I wanted any work done on the house. Seems like a total scam to me. The number starts with 0xt. Don’t answer or share any info with them. Definitely dodgy.

Got a call from this number claiming to be from some insurance firm. Just a heads up, if you get a call from them, make sure to jot down their details. It definitely seems like a dodgy scam. The guy sounded Indian and kept saying he was with housing improvement. He asked if I had any problems they could assist with. When I said no, he just said bye and ended the call.

Pretty clear it was a scam, considering I don’t have any life insurance deals with firms based in Ringwood, Hampshire. If you never requested the call, just hang up straight away. I blocked the number!
