They claimed it was in relation to an inquiry I allegedly made previously, though I couldn't recall any such interaction. I requested that they remove my number from their list to ensure I wouldn’t be bothered again, and they assured me they would take care of it.

Claimed he was calling from Money Supermarket and asked if my electricity company had reached out to offer a cheaper deal. Then he tried to find out who supplies my energy, but I said I wasn’t interested, so he left it at that.

It was Simply Switch Customer Support. I’d thought about changing energy suppliers before but never went through with it, so they called to see if i needed assistance. They were really nice and got how i felt, and when i asked, they removed my number from their list.
