got another quiet call from this number, thats twice this week now. i’ve already sent a complaint to the First Utility CEO, Mr Colin Crooks, and also reported it to Ofcom. do these idiots even listen? after this, i’m definitely never going back to First Utility if this is how they treat former customers.

Got a silent call from this number. I’ve reported it to Ofcom. Tried to complain to Ofgem too, but they couldn’t care less, which really shows how effective they are as a regulator. Now I just leave my answerphone on and they just hang up as soon as someone picks up.

Had a missed call from 1231 on 18th April 2018. Followed the tips mentioned here, called back, pressed option 1, put in my number and hit the # to get myself taken off their list.

Yeah, it’s First Utilities, but you don’t really need to block them. Just ring back and when the automated voice picks up, press 1 and then enter your number plus the # key. That should take your details off their list. I tried it myself and it actually worked.
