This number has been calling me every day, sometimes even more than once in a day, for the past week. They never leave a message, so I've decided to block it now. Cheers to everyone for sharing their experiences!

I’ve had loads of calls from this number and every time my phone pops up with a warning like ‘scam caller’ or ‘debt collector’ in big red letters. So I googled the number and it looked like it was linked to EE, so I rang EE to check. They didn’t recognise the number at all and told me to report it to my own phone provider so they can try to block it. Best everyone does that to stay safe.

They’ve been ringing me quite a few times recently. My phone even tags it as “spam”, so I just don’t answer.

I honestly can't remember how many times this number has called me. They say they're from EE and try to push an upgrade on me. I've told them loads of times that I'm fine with what I have and don't need anything else. Then, weirdly, they asked me for specific letters from my password. I gave them random letters on purpose, but they said it matched their info, which makes no sense at all. I ended the call and now just ignore them, but they keep ringing anyway.

Somebody rang saying they were from my internet company and asked me to say my last name. Nah, I don’t just give that info to strangers calling out of the blue pretending to be from my provider. So yeah, I just ended the call right there.

This number has rung my mobile a staggering nine times over the last week. I picked up once, and they claimed to be from EE. However, when I asked them to give me a bell on my landline on Tuesday, they never did, yet they’ve still persisted in calling my mobile. I’m starting to think it might be a scam, so I'm going to block it now.

This number has been ringing me about a dozen times this past week and a couple of times today as well. I’m not picking up since I looked it up online and saw what others said. They left voicemails but I haven’t received anything official from EE, so I’m pretty sure it’s a scam. Definitely blocking it now.

Some bloke rang me from a Hull number claiming to be from EE, which I am with. He said they were upgrading broadband locally and asked for my full name and something else I can't quite recall. I told him I don't share personal info over the phone and asked him to email me instead. He was polite and said that was fine before hanging up. Not sure if he was legit or not.

It was EE ringing me non stop, I got Fibre at a really good deal and 10GB more on my phone plan. This number always rings just when my contract's about to end. They only ask for my surname and a couple letters from my fave colour which I put in when I signed up, so they can't really do much with that. I wouldn’t feel comfy giving them any more details though.

SCAM - They called me loads of times but never left a message cause I didn’t know the number (I looked it up after the first missed call). Last night they called again, and I was in a good mood so I picked up. A lady said she was from EE and even had my full name, then asked for two letters from my phone password - that was all she said, no explanation why she was calling. I refused to give her anything, and she just said “Alright” and hung up straight away.

BT Claims I owe a bill from over a year ago after I switched to EE. give EE a ring and update your marketing choices if you prefer other ways of contact. these days, telcos mostly seal deals over the phone, not with paper contracts anymore. plus, phone calls can be recorded as evidence, unlike a signed sheet which could be doctored.

I kept ignoring the calls since they kept ringing and I figured it was some kind of scam. But then I thought I’d ring back while my grandson was around in case I needed help on the phone. It was actually EE, the company I get my internet with, checking if I wanted a better broadband package with faster speeds. For anyone annoyed by the “security questions” bit in these calls, I’m an EE customer and also work at an outbound call centre. These questions are just basic checks to make sure they’re talking to the right person. They don’t ask for sensitive stuff like bank details. Normally it’s stuff like your favourite colour, a special year, or a few letters from your mum’s maiden name. Only if you can’t answer do they ask for your phone number or email. If you ring EE yourself, they’ll ask you the same sort of questions.

Got a call from EE saying they wanted to upgrade my broadband since my area has slow speeds. Just to clarify, this is a 3rd party company working with EE, registered with them. The reason they ask for "security questions" is because they need to follow data protection laws. It's to keep our info safe. I upgraded through them yesterday and got a proper confirmation email and text directly from EE. Definitely NOT a scam. They were just offering fibre optic broadband deals.

My mum answered a call from them, said they were from EE offering an upgrade. They didn't seem too pushy and even gave her an EE call centre number for me to ring back. But when I tried calling twice, you can’t actually speak to anyone; the line just keeps redirecting and plays the same music again and again. I even tried pressing 1 and other keys but nothing changed. After about 5 minutes I just gave up. Honestly, if this is meant to be a real EE call centre, it’s really disappointing.
