Got a call just after 7:45 this morning - way too early for that kind of nonsense! The person on the line said they were from Microsoft and that there was some issue with my computer’s security. I told them straight up I wasn’t buying it, and then they just dropped the call. I’m sure these scams can be risky if you fall for them, but honestly, after all these years of getting these calls, the success rate has to be tiny by now. Been dealing with this rubbish for ages.
