Since yesterday, I’ve had this bloke with an Indian accent ring me up about four times every day. Each time, the number’s slightly different, like they tweak one digit. When I told him to take me off their calling list the first time, he was back ringing less than half an hour later. Sometimes, he just cuts me off mid-call, other times he gets a bit aggressive. There’s been a few calls where all I get is silence down the line. When I say I’m going to report them, they usually hang up straight away. I’ve already reported the lot. Honestly, these calls are just plain annoying.

I got a call from an Asian woman who said she was with Telephone Preference Management. She had my full name, address and postcode handy. Then she asked if I had a debit card that expired back in 2018. I told her I wasn't comfortable answering that, and she said it was for verification. I replied it was likely true since cards do expire now and then. After that, she just ended the call. This number has rang me loads before but I just ignored it every time.

I’ve just put in a complaint about this number via the TPS. They’ve rung me four times already, switching up the numbers each time, even using ones from abroad. Never give out any personal info like your name or address - they’ll just twist it to scam someone else. I try to keep them talking as long as I can so they don’t get through to anyone more at risk. So far today, they've rang me three times, starting as early as 8:08 in the morning. All the callers had Indian accents but used English names. They keep telling me to stop all these annoying calls and international ones, claiming they're linked to the TPS. Then they say it's a free service to block these calls, but weirdly, they went on to ask for my bank card's expiry date for "extra security." I told them straight to quit calling me and delete my number from their list. Yet, just an hour later, they were back ringing again.

I asked straight up if he took me for a mug, but he just shut up. Like a few others have mentioned, these people claim they’re from TPM, which isn’t the real TPS service - that one’s free and legit. They told me the service they offered had to be renewed, but I told them I’m hardly ever in, so blocking calls wasn’t an issue for me. They ended the call pretty sharpish after that.

When the phone rings at first it looks like it’s coming from abroad, then it switches to show 01471340668. I reckon the call’s coming from outside the UK, probably routed through a PBX in the Isle of Skye, which then shows a UK number. They’ve rung me about 20 or 25 times over the last couple of days. Like others have mentioned, they say they’re from the Telephone Preference Service, but it’s clearly not true. I’ve told them to stop calling, but they just ignore me. I’ve also reported the number to BT and the Telephone Preference Service themselves.

Today I got two calls from this number, one around 10.30 in the morning and another about 15 minutes later. The first caller was a guy with an Indian accent who said he was from the company and claimed he just needed some extra details about my account to sort out the nuisance calls, and that it would be free.
