Received a nuisance call from someone purporting to represent an insurance company regarding an event that I, or anyone in my home, have supposedly been involved in. The truth is, there have been no accidents at all, and I have no other occupants in my household. Quite the bother, really!

I was unfortunate enough to encounter what seems to be a motor insurance scam. The moment I began probing for details regarding the source of their information, they abruptly cut the call. Quite suspicious, don’t you think?

Got a typical call about some car crash nonsense. They dropped the line almost instantly when I mentioned I hadn’t been in any accidents and called them out for their dodgy ‘ambulance chasing’ tactics.

Received a call on my mobile at precisely 11:42 from this number. I chose not to answer since it was unfamiliar to me. They didn’t bother to leave a voicemail, which is why I felt compelled to look it up here.

I let an unidentified call ring out and, after doing a bit of research here, I'm rather relieved I did! It feels like I spend more time blocking these pesky numbers than I do talking to my actual contacts. At this rate, my list of blocked numbers is starting to dwarf my address book!

Received a call from a number I didn’t recognise. They didn’t bother leaving any voicemail, so I won’t be ringing back. Thought I’d do a bit of digging to see if they were on the up and up, and surprise, surprise – turns out it’s a scam! I've put them on my blocked list straight away.

A woman gave me a bell, addressing me by my first name. She claimed to be inquiring about some mishap I'd supposedly experienced. I informed her that I hadn't been in any such accident and promptly ended the call.
