Received another one of those pesky phone calls regarding the car accident I had at the start of the year. I simply mentioned that I was aware of their cold calling tactics. They then inquired about whether a family member had experienced an accident as well. At that point, I decided to just hang up.

I was anticipating a phone call but had no clue about the number that would be ringing me, so I picked up when this one came through. To my surprise, they hung up right away. I then decided to do a bit of digging here and discovered it's actually associated with a scam. My phone even identified it as a telemarketer! Quite frustrating, really.

Had a dodgy experience with someone claiming I was involved in a car accident that I had no knowledge of. Definitely sounds like a scam to me!

I received a missed call from a number that my phone has identified as being linked to Girvan in Scotland. However, I don't recognise the caller at all.

Received a call on my mobile from someone purporting to be from a legal department. I wasn’t having any of it and abruptly ended the conversation, instructing them to cease any further calls and to take my number off their list. Complete nonsense, if you ask me. I’ve blocked them straight away!

Con artists are now utilising local area codes to deceive people into believing they're receiving a genuine call. I've gone ahead and blocked them and reported their number.

As soon as I picked up, the call ended abruptly. Usually, Google catches these sorts of calls and marks them as spam, but curiously, this one slipped through the cracks. It’s quite frustrating to think that their system might recognise it as a legitimate number just because I answered. Anyway, I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number as well as reported it for good measure.

Just encountered yet another scammer! It's rather infuriating, isn’t it? If phone companies weren’t so keen on selling off our information, we wouldn’t be faced with these annoying pests. I wager Richard Branson is well shielded from such bothersome calls!

When I picked up the phone, the bloke on the other end had the cheek to ask if I was Mr Goodfellow! I mean, come on, I'm a woman! Quite offensive, if you ask me. Then he went on about my number being linked to some car crash in the past year. I told him he had the wrong person and just ended the call. What a bother!

I found the service to be incredibly supportive — they assisted me in claiming a right I had absolutely no prior knowledge of! It’s a relief, really, as they didn’t request any personal details from me. I do feel for those who keep labelling them as fraudsters, but in my experience, that couldn't be further from the truth.

I've had repeated calls from +44 1465 300034. I refuse to pick up and even went ahead and blocked the number, yet they still manage to get through somehow. It’s becoming rather tiresome!

Scam related to car accidents. These con artists become quite irate when you respond with something like... “Which incident are you referencing? I've had my fair share – was it the Sherman tank that ploughed into my vehicle, or the Chinook helicopter that decided to touch down atop my house?” It’s amusing to see their reactions!

I don't recognise this number, so I refrain from picking up until I've had the chance to look it up here. It's quite frustrating! Is there any way to put an end to these persistent calls? Blocking them seems utterly pointless.

I tried ringing this number from a different phone, and an automated voice informed me that it’s not valid. Best to give it a miss and don’t bother answering it!

Received a dodgy call about a car accident, sounded like your typical American on the other end. Honestly, do these chancers believe we're that gullible? I've just blocked the number 🚫. My advice? Don’t pick up – just get rid of them!
