They rang me quite early but didn't bother to leave a voicemail.

Had a woman with an Indian accent ring me saying there was a problem with my "Microsoft Computer". She seemed to know my name but didn't say it right away. When I told her a fake name, she just ended the call. Just another typical scam call in the bag.

So it's 7.35 in the morning on a Saturday when I get this call from an Asian lady saying she's from Microsoft's tech support. I asked who she was trying to reach and she said my name, but I didn’t confirm it. Then I told her to prove she was legit by giving me my address. She asked why I needed that info, and I just said, "If you’re real, tell me my address." She just cut the call right there.

Got a scam call the other day, and when I called them out, they started shouting swear words at me. Proper cheeky, wasn't it? Ha ha!

Number 01463219901 called me claiming to be Lee from Microsoft. I told him straight up that Microsoft doesn’t do cold calls and then ended the call. No more than a couple of minutes later, he phoned again asking why I’d hung up. I told him loudly he was definitely a scammer and I wasn’t interested in wasting any more time chatting with him, then told him to buzz off.

I got a call from a woman on a crackly line, trying the whole CLSID / Event viewer / Anydesk trick. Looks like this scam has been floating around for decades now. Honestly, the best move seems to be just politely ending the call once they start pushing you to download Anydesk. Sure, Anydesk has legitimate uses, but I reckon it should come with a big caution about not letting unknown people control your computer. I kinda feel sorry for those scammers - it must be a pretty grim way to make a bit of cash.

Got a call from a woman saying she was with Microsoft. She claimed my computer was being used by someone else. She rattled off a bunch of numbers, saying it was proof it belonged to me. When I refused to say what brand my computer was, she called me blind and stupid then just hung up on me.

Just had a bloke saying he was from Microsoft, knew my name too. When I called him out, he got all rude and then just hung up, chuckling to himself. Another total scammer, no doubt.

Got a call from someone asking for a name I didn’t recognise. I told them they must have the wrong number, but they kept insisting they had the correct contact and person. Quite strange really.

Got a call at 7:40 in the morning, the person actually called my wife a “lazy bones” when she said it was too early. Our office only opens at 9 these days, but we have to answer urgent calls from my mother-in-laws sheltered housing. They claimed to be Microsoft, but I’m sure this was a SCAM. Never trust calls like this!

Hey, just saw your call but I was in the shower. Could you ring me again? The cops contacted me saying someone reported me for money laundering connected to my IPS. I gotta sort my data out to cover myself.

He kept banging on about some computer I don’t own. I told him straight up that I don’t have one and said it sounded a bit dodgy to me. After that, he got quite nasty on the phone. What’s worse, he rang me twice more and was just as rude each time!

Got a call from 0146 3219901 today, sounded like the typical Microsoft scam, some guy named David with a thick Pakistani accent. I’m usually pretty polite but after getting called 3 or 4 times every single day, I just lost it and told him to go shove it, then slammed the phone down. Normally I wouldn’t be so rude but enough is enough with these relentless calls.

I got a call from someone claiming to be Microsoft, telling me my pc was hacked. The first call came from one number and when I ended it 'cause I figured it was a scam, they rang back from another number, asking why I’d hung up. Really annoying and pushy behaviour.

As soon as I picked up, the call got cut off almost straight away. I actually don’t mind the Microsoft scam calls - I just string them along until they ask to access my PC and then I flat out refuse. It’s funny because it makes them waste ages on the call, hopefully stopping someone who might actually fall for it getting caught out.

I got a call about my computer, but I didn’t bother chatting since I’ve gotten this Microsoft scam call before, so I just ended it straight away. Then the same bloke rang me back but from another number. When I picked up, he told me "Ma’am, you can’t just hang up on me." So I hung up again. I’m pretty sure it’s the same guy as before - he sounds really hostile.

I got a call from someone claiming to be John Copeland from Microsoft, but he lost his temper real quick when I said I was aware of these scams. He started throwing accusations at me about selling #### and distributing porn on some dark web or whatever. Then he rang me up 3 more times after that! Definitely not someone I'd want to deal with again.
