Got a call at our shop asking for the manager of the BT phone line. Since we’re a post office, that line is actually handled by the post office itself.

Today I got a call from this number, and the person said our phone contract was up for review, suggesting there might be extra charges for business lines. They never mentioned who they were or which company they represented until I asked. When they finally said the name, it was some firm I’ve never come across before - something like OneCom, if I heard right. I told them straight away I wasn’t interested and hadn’t asked for their call. They then insisted I didn’t get what they were trying to offer. It was quite a struggle convincing them I wasn’t keen on their pitch.
