I've been getting loads of calls from 01453237490, with someone pretending to be from Virgin Media. They keep telling me to switch on my computer and follow their steps because apparently there's an issue with my internet and if I don't act, it'll be cut off in a couple of days. I called Virgin myself just to check, and they said it’s definitely a scam. So next time they called, I asked them to verify my info... guess what? They just ended the call straight away!

Got a call from some bloke with an Asian accent saying he was from Virgin Media. He claimed my internet got hacked or something. I just let him go on for a laugh, then told him he was the real scammer. He got proper mad and kept saying it was legit. Told him to buzz off and not ring me again, but honestly, I’m not expecting him to stop. Can’t believe anyone actually falls for these dodgy calls though.

Had this dodgy call from Virgin Media claiming my account was compromised and wanting my IP address (I don't even use Virgin internet!). Heard about some call centre scams from Pakistan before but reckon this lot are those cheeky guys from Mumbai. They’ve started ringing nearly every day now, pretendin’ to be from Virgin but masking their real number with a UK one. Bit alarming how simple it is for these scammers to fake local numbers!

Got a call from someone saying they were with Virgin, so I asked them what my account number or IP address was. This young bloke with an Asian accent said they couldn’t give me that info. I told him there’s no way he's actually from Virgin and ended the call. The number was 01453237490.

My dad got a call about his internet being "too slow" and they told him to look at his computer just to confirm (fingers crossed he didn’t let them in!). They left this number 01618186075 for any questions, which I reckon is just a way for them to try and get remote access. They said they shut up shop around 4 or 5 pm - bit odd for a call centre to be so vague about closing times! Told my dad to ignore it all, especially since he’s had about a dozen calls lately all pretending to be from BT or Virgin.
