I frequently get calls from this number, and since I have caller ID, I usually let them ring out as I don't recognise anyone with that particular area code. However, this morning, curiosity got the better of me, and I decided to pick up. The chap on the other end had such a thick Asian accent that I struggled to make heads or tails of what he was saying. From what I could decipher, he claimed to be calling on behalf of Virgin, saying that my equipment was giving odd readings. It all seemed rather dodgy, so I promptly ended the call.

I received a call from someone with an Indian accent, claiming to be from BT. He wanted to alert me that my connection had been compromised. When I mentioned that I was no longer using it due to concerns about scammers, his language turned quite vulgar. It was clear he was nothing but a fraudster.

I received a call from someone with an Asian accent claiming to be from Virgin Media, saying there was an issue with my router. I informed him that I recognised his voice as that of a scammer, yet he insisted he was legitimate even as I ended the call. I must say, this isn’t the first time I’ve had such calls; it seems to be quite a frequent nuisance!

Hello everyone, I wanted to share a rather unsettling experience I had recently. I received a dodgy call that was supposedly from Virgin Media, claiming that our internet had been compromised by some malware. They insisted that I grant them access to our computer and online setup to sort the issue out. It felt incredibly suspicious, to say the least!

Received a call today from someone claiming to be from Virginia Media, a company I haven’t dealt with in ages – over a year, in fact. It reeked of a scam, especially with that noticeable Asian accent. He threatened to cut me off right away if I didn’t comply. Quite dodgy, if you ask me!

I've received at least three calls in the past couple of hours, but as soon as I pick up, they just cut off. On the very first call, there was an awkward pause before a chap with an Indian accent finally spoke up. I decided to hang up before he could get any further.

As soon as I picked up, they hung up sharpish. I really wish there was a way to block these calls on my landline. Seems like they’ve had their fingers in the pie a few times already, judging by what others have said.

I'm receiving calls from them at least five times daily, claiming to be from Virgin Media. It's becoming quite bothersome and feels like harassment.

Just received a call a few moments ago from someone with an Indian accent claiming there was an issue with my Virgin Media router. I had a strong feeling it was a scam, so I asked him to provide proof that he was genuinely with Virgin. Suddenly, he hung up!
