Received a call from this number, and considering I was involved in a car crash, they seemed to have my information. They claimed I could claim compensation from the other party’s insurance and proceeded to ask me several questions regarding the incident. I can't shake off this uneasy feeling about the whole thing now. Thankfully, they didn’t ask for any bank details or similar, so I’m hopeful everything’s alright.

Received a call earlier today (14 Jan 2021) from someone saying they were with a legal department. I told them the connection was rubbish and I couldn’t make out what they were saying. They just hung up. My car was hit in an accident on 8 Jan 2021 and my insurance are handling everything. When I got back I looked up the number online and sure enough, it's just another fraudster.

This number is from Glasgow, I checked it on a Glasgow map which is where the call said it was from. Looks like it's close to a train station, but there weren’t any street names shown? The caller even used my husband’s first name and asked about some accident he supposedly had. I told them to buzz off, this kind of annoying call is so old-fashioned, then I just hung up. Where on earth do these people get their info? My husband has never had any accident!

Someone rang me up talking about a car crash I supposedly had ages ago. I said thanks for calling and went on to say I actually did have a terrible accident last year when my bus ended up on some train tracks and a train hit it, sadly killing 17 of my passengers. Then I asked if they could assist me. Shockingly, they hung up really fast. Honestly, pretending to be a right pain like that is the best way to stop them sharing your number around! It’s even more effective than just blocking the caller.

Received a rather peculiar call about a supposed car crash I supposedly had ages ago. I responded with gratitude for their call and mentioned how fortunate it was that they rang me up, as I had indeed been involved in a tragic incident last year when my coach mistakenly ended up on some railway tracks, resulting in the unfortunate loss of 17 passengers. I asked if they could offer any assistance with that matter. To my astonishment, they hung up the phone rather swiftly. It seems this is quite the effective tactic to ensure they don’t share your number with anyone else if they reckon you're completely pointless! Works wonders, even better than just blocking them outright!
