I received a phone call from someone who astonishingly knew my first name. They inquired about a car accident I never had, and then proceeded to suggest that a family member might be involved in one. It’s utterly scandalous! Why on earth aren’t authorities tracking these people down and locking them up? If they did, perhaps it would serve as a deterrent for others thinking of working in these shady operations in the future.

The caller seemed to know my name and when I inquired about their identity, they mentioned they were with the Legal Department concerning a car accident I was involved in. Quite suddenly, they just ended the call.

I received a rather peculiar phone call from a woman, her accent suggesting she might be from Ukraine, and she was talking at breakneck speed. She introduced herself with a quick "Hello, I’m…” and then went on about my supposed involvement in a car accident from less than two years ago, insisting I might still be entitled to make a claim-just a barrage of questions! And then, quite manipulatively, she would finish with a “that’s correct, isn’t it?” When I pressed her for clarity, she claimed to be calling from Glasgow, stating they acquire information on all car accidents through the UKAIG, and if anything was amiss, they would simply update my records. Really? It's hard to swallow, to be honest. I can't help but think about how many unsuspecting folks might actually fall for this and unknowingly hand over their personal details to these dubious callers. Quite alarming!

Just received a missed call from this number a couple of hours back, and interestingly enough, I also had a call from a number that looks remarkably alike just before the festive season. Strangely, they never leave a voicemail. Thankfully, I've never had to deal with a car crash, so I reckon it's time to block these pesky spammy digits. Cheers for the heads-up! 😉
