I seem to be getting a call every couple of days from an 0141 769 number, and the suffix keeps altering each time (0131, 0013, 0035, 0238, 0240, etc.). I’ve chosen not to pick up and have gone ahead and blocked every variation that’s come through so far.

Got a phone call supposedly from an insurance firm about a car crash that happened a couple of years ago. The caller said they were calling from Glasgow, but the number kept changing - looks like they're using some kind of routing system, so they could actually be anywhere. Even if you try to block one number, they just ring back with a different ending on the phone number, so blocking doesn't really help.

Got a call saying I could claim compensation for a car accident supposedly involving me. Thing is, I haven’t been in any accident. I tried to have a bit of fun with it and asked them to give me the details so I could check if it was true. They just ended up hanging up on me! Was a bit of a laugh for a minute anyway. On a serious note, I've had loads of calls from numbers starting with 0141 769, all the same story. I keep blocking them but they just keep ringing back!

Frankly, these individuals ought to face serious consequences for troubling the older generation and other innocent folks who might not be as savvy to their tricks. It's downright unacceptable!
