A few weeks back I took a call from 0141 769 #### but as soon as I said hi, the other end just hung up. I blocked that number straight away but since then, I've been getting calls from loads of other ones starting with 0141 769. I don’t pick up and just block every single one. Surely they can’t keep finding new numbers forever?

They rang me around 4 or 5 times, then went quiet for a few months. Out of the blue, they started phoning again about another 4 or 5 times, claiming to be from Auto Assist regarding a recent car accident, which wasnt even my fault. But as soon as I asked them for their company's address or a phone number I could call back, they just cut me off. Proper dodgy behaviour.

I received a trio of missed calls from this number earlier today, and before I knew it, I picked up the fourth ring. On the line was a rather dubious woman, offering her assistance in securing the maximum compensation for my recent accident. Out of curiosity, I decided to look up her "agency" on the internet, only to discover a string of complaints labelling them as scammers. Quite concerning, to say the least!

I really don't understand why the major phone companies can’t put an end to these annoying and risky calls. You’d think with all the tech they’ve got, they could block them completely? Once they track down these callers, they ought to make sure they never get a phone again, no matter what kind. Would be great if the providers could block them from using any service at all - landlines, internet, or mobiles alike.

I've been getting calls from these lot every single day, even after blocking the number loads of times. They keep ringing back but with slightly different numbers each time. Whenever I've picked up, it's some person with terrible English, trying to get me to give out personal info about some bogus car crash they claim I've been in. Now I just ignore the calls and block them straight away. It's so frustrating how they manage to get hold of your phone number and keep pestering you like this.
