For weeks now, I've been receiving calls from this number but all I get is silence when I pick up, then they just drop the call. There’s also a recorded message pretending to be from HMP Scotland, and when I press 1 to talk to someone, the line just cuts out. Definitely a scam!!! Today at about 10.22am, a woman finally called and actually spoke. She sounded really jittery and ended the call straight away when I asked how she got my number, clearly struggling to explain herself. Complete scam artists!!

I asked where they’d found my number and name, but all they said was something about health and safety advice. When I pressed for the source of my info, the woman just snapped at me, told me to "be quiet and listen," then carried on with her sales spiel. The caller was a woman called Linda.

Spoke to a really nice older woman who was worried about the insulation in my loft. She somehow had my old address and didn’t correct her. She mentioned I could get a free survey and said someone would ring me for it. Feels dodgy to me, probably a scam.

I got a call from a woman claiming to do an insulation safety survey. When I told her I wasn't interested, she quickly asked, "Are you denying a safety inspection?" I said yes, and then she threatened to inform building control, saying they'd get in touch with me. It's clearly a con, or at least a push to sell something, but using the threat of reporting to a made-up building control office is really pushing it. I worry that older or vulnerable folks could easily be tricked by this sort of nonsense.

Pretty sure this is a call centre calling, 'cos they never bother leaving a voicemail. But when I listen to the answer machine, you can clearly hear loads of chatter going on in the background, like there’s a bunch of people all talking on their phones at once.
