Got a call from 01416 746 954 earlier today. I didn't pick up and let it go to voicemail. Later on, I called it back, thinking it might be a client, but when someone answered, all I could hear was background noise like a call centre, no one actually spoke to me. So I just put the phone down. Seems like it could be one of those scam calls, so I've blocked the number now.

Got a call from this number around 7.50 in the morning, sounded like a scam. The person spoke with what seemed like an Indian accent, saying they were checking on my gas boiler. They knew my name, address and postcode, then tried to get my bank details! I refused to give anything else, and they just ended the call. I looked up the number afterwards and came across your site. Someone rang the office from this number asking for my phone details related to meter readings. Nobody at the office shared my number with them, obviously. I blocked my number and dialled back. A woman answered but didn’t say her name or what company she was from. When I asked, she wouldn’t reveal who she was or explain why she needed my number. She just kept insisting on getting it, which seemed dodgy to me. Feels like it's probably a scam call, nothing official about it.
