Got a call from someone claiming to be Vodafone offering a deal and said they’d got my number from my network company (which seems bonkers, why would they share that info??). Weirdly, my partner had just ended a call from the same number which was supposedly from O2 saying something very similar. Honestly, can’t trust these calls at all.

Don't trust them, I foolishly played along at first but soon realised it was dodgy. I ended the call and then they rang me back straight away. I checked my account and changed the password quick sharp. Before that, I'd accidentally ordered a new Apple Watch on a pre-contract that was meant to be sent to 8 Hibaldstow Close, Lincoln - nowhere near my place! Luckily I think I managed to cancel it just in time since it hadn’t actually gone through properly yet.

Got a call from this number claiming they're from O2, offering to lower my bill. Trouble is, I’m not even an O2 customer.

Got a call from a bloke with an Indian accent, trying to get me to upgrade my phone. He kept saying I was with Vodafone, which I’m not. After I told him I wasn’t interested, he tried again, claiming he wasn’t offering a new contract, just a phone swap. I told him again I wasn’t up for it, then he just hung up on me.
