Got a really dodgy phone call claiming they were doing checks on old loft insulation for the Scottish Government. I said yes to a visit but they never turned up. Then two hours later, a guy rings saying he’d been stuck with another customer. Feels like they were just trying to push a sale. Today, another call offering me 20% off if I bought new insulation. I cut her off straight away - all a load of rubbish just to get inside your home.

Halley called this number asking for someone with my wife's last name (even tho me and her have different surnames and the phone is under her name). She wanted my name but I didn’t wanna give it. Wouldn’t say why they were calling or who they were, just kept saying it was URGENT. Got quite rude when I told her there’s no Mr X here. Wouldnt say what company they were from either. Could easily scare older folks.

Its pretty clear to me these folks are a bit lost, but I believe using these calls as a chance to share John 3:16-18 and talk about your faith in Jesus is a positive approach. Always good to have the Bible close by :)

So I got a call from someone claiming to be from Loft Insulation Ltd or a name like that. He asked if we’d paid for our loft insulation ourselves, and when I told him to mind his own business, he just laughed and called me a “big gimp.” That sort of rudeness at your own house is just not on. The company, Ziron Ltd, is linked to a Matthew Stephen Mansell, and the main controller is Telcoswitch Limited - which, surprise surprise, is also connected to the same guy. They’ve got loads of office addresses listed. Honestly, I’m so sick of dealing with this.
