I've been getting incessant calls from this number, but I've chosen to disregard every one of them.

I keep getting calls from this number and it turns out to be scammers pretending they’re from EE. The number’s a landline linked to Ziron Limited, based in Glasgow. Their official office is actually at 98 Great North Road in London, postcode N2 0NL. The main person in charge is Matthew Stephen Mansell, who’s got his name on like 38 other company director roles on Companies House. Definitely sounds dodgy to me.

Got a call from someone saying they were from Tesco Mobile, claiming they grabbed my number from O2. The weird thing is, I've never even been a customer of O2 or Tesco Mobile. Blocked their number straight away!

Some woman, who wasn't speaking proper English, called me offering an iPhone 14 on an EE deal for £40 per month. As soon as I mentioned that I work for Vodafone, she just hung up straight away, no goodbye or anything. Proper impolite behaviour.

I didn’t bother answering this unfamiliar number, figured if it was important they’d ring back. A quick search online showed it’s likely just a telemarketer or spam caller. Seems like companies call random numbers to check if someone picks up, then pass your number along for more annoying calls. Instead of blocking them, I save the number in my contacts and label them spam1, spam2 and so on. That way, if they phone again, I just ignore them. I avoid blocking because I’m not sure if that makes your phone look ‘active’ to spammers, but I’m not certain about that bit.

The sound was so bad I could hardly understand a word they were saying, but I got the impression it was some kind of scam, so I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number. It was frustrating because I was expecting news about a family member who’s unwell in Glasgow, and seeing the 0141 code made me think it could be important.

I received a call from someone claiming to be from EE, inquiring about my sort code and account number to supposedly offer me a discount. I decided to entertain them for about an hour, tossing out random bank details as if I were genuinely engaged in conversation. It’s quite amusing to think that they might be reaching out to someone else next! They’re set to call me again tomorrow, as I’ll have my bank card at the ready. Honestly, it’s clear these are just con artists-take heed and don’t get suckered into their dodgy calls!

I received a rather dubious call from this number which masqueraded as my mobile provider, claiming to offer a new deal with extra data. They pushed me for my personal information, but I couldn't see any connection to the plan featured on the company’s app that I legally use. After a bit of probing, I realised that this number wasn’t listed anywhere on their platform!

I received a call from this number around 4:00 PM today. Interestingly, I had another call just three hours earlier from 0141 591 0934, both related to an 'energy survey for your home' that was supposedly free. I attempted to inform the caller that I’m listed with the Telephone Preference Service, which means I shouldn’t be getting such calls. However, they stubbornly insisted that my number was on their database. This led to quite a fiery exchange, during which I ended up losing my cool. Shortly after our conversation ended, I got a call from a so-called supervisor from the same company, who claimed that her colleague was considering legal action against me! If you happen to get a call from this lot, I’d strongly recommend you just hang up.
