I'd say this number is pretty dodgy, probably one of those free BT phones you find around the City Centre. I'm guessing since all my mates and family are on contracts and would just ring me directly. None of them are in town tonight and even if they were, they'd be with friends or relatives. So, I'd say just ignore it. I might be wrong, might just be another scam call going about these days. Glasgow folks, watch out! I've blocked it and reported it to my provider. Better safe than sorry, lads!

ESB energy called and they knew my name right away - really nice Glaswegian bloke on the phone. He wasn’t pushy at all when he asked his questions, just said they offer totally renewable energy with good low prices, and told me to check them out when my contract’s up for renewal.

It’s Scottish Power calling, and they just don’t get the message that I’m not interested! I get about 4 to 6 calls daily. Even though I’ve blocked their number, they keep calling. They always try to pitch a cheaper plan. When I don’t pick up, they leave the same voicemail every time - something like “No worries, we’ll call again, we can save you money!” Honestly, it’s such a bother!

What’s the use of a missed call if I can't find out who rang me? You're only able to offer up the location, which is information anyone can access easily. Honestly, your promotion feels a bit misleading and doesn’t quite measure up to the standards set by the Trades Description Act, putting you squarely in the same boat as many others. This number rang me, and I'm really annoyed because it seems like my phone provider can charge me for calls to spam or premium lines. I’ve got an extra £23 added onto my bill this month because of this, which is just ridiculous. They’ve blocked premium numbers now, but I still have to cough up that £23 for calls I never made. Got a call from some energy firm I hadn’t heard of, they were trying to get us to switch suppliers for cheaper rates. Asked for our bank info, which we refused to give. We told them to look up the company on the internet, and then the caller got really insistent and took over the conversation. Ended up just hanging up.
