So frustrating getting all these calls! I never pick up if I don't know the number since they never bother to leave a message. This has been going on for a few months now. I keep blocking numbers but then new ones just keep ringing.

I picked up and there was a bit of a pause before an automated message started, so I just ended the call. Most likely Scottish Power ringing from Glasgow, since I don’t have any contacts there.

Scottish Power called me again. I was with them for both gas and electricity but switched to a different company that’s much cheaper and the customer service is way better, found it through the Martin Lewis Money Expert app. The amount I pay now is way less than what Scottish Power charged me and I’m actually in credit! No chance I’m going back to them. Blocked the number straight away.

I received a call that I didn’t catch, so I dialled the number back. It turned out to be an energy firm acting on behalf of Scottish Power. Since I’m not actually a customer of theirs, it seems they might be trying to entice me to change my energy supplier.
