Just let the voicemail get it - they didn’t say anything, just ended the call. I hardly pick up anymore - if it’s important, they’ll leave a message. I also don’t bother calling back to see who it was in case it’s some expensive scam or premium number. Really grateful I can look up numbers on this site - cheers for that.

0141370771 A lady said she was calling from Energy Solutions Scotland, I told her I’m signed up to the Telephone Preferences Service (TPS). She asked what the TPS was, and when I explained, she claimed it doesn’t actually block marketing calls. I told her to look it up properly before bothering anyone else and to take my number off their list or I’d consider legal action. She agreed and ended the call. I’ve reported this to TPS.

I got a call from some call centre trying to get me to do a "free" loft insulation survey. They said it was backed by the government or something. I told them I already had my loft done about 5 years ago, but they just kept pushing, saying maybe it wasn’t done right and it wouldn’t cost me anything to have a look. Then they tried to scare me, saying in a few years the government might make it compulsory and charge for it. I just laughed and told them I doubted the government would bother with that when there’s bigger issues to deal with, and maybe they should rethink their script.
