I've been inundated with calls from this number, and they’ve also tried varying the final digit on several occasions. I haven’t a clue who’s behind this or their intentions, as my BT phone does a good job of filtering these pesky numbers out. Still, the sheer volume of these calls is quite bothersome, to say the least!

Got a call from a woman in Glasgow about a ‘loft safety inspection’?? She claimed our info came from ‘homes in Scotland’ linked to loft insulation done 5 years back. We never gave any details! She said the inspection was needed because insulation might deteriorate and cause issues in your home. Definitely a scam.

The caller began quite nicely, but I cut him off halfway through because I’m registered with the TPS. He tried to claim it wasn’t a sales call, so I let him continue for a bit longer. Then I told him it was definitely a sales pitch, even if it was free, and that I use the TPS to avoid having to get up just to chat with someone who’s not a mate. That cheeky little sod then said it must have been tough for me to get off my backside. That was a step too far. I had to tell him at least three times to take my number off their list.
