I decided to play it cool, telling him I'd consider it, before ending the call. Upon investigating the number, it appears it's not actually linked to Scottish Power at all. It could potentially be a scam, but I can’t say for certain.

this number calls me at least twice every day since 28th feb, its really annoying. i reported it to the blocked calls register ’cause its a scam or nuisance call. also told the police, they gave me a log number but said they cant do much about it. i really dont get why they just dont block the number straight away.
