Picked up 'cause it was a local number and sounded like it might be genuine. They asked for me, but used my old name from over a decade ago. I just said, 'No, you've got the wrong number' every time they mentioned that name. Then they go on, 'Are you certain? It can't be her, right?' Seriously, what even?!

I've received countless calls from this number despite explicitly requesting that they take my details off their list. They initially asked for someone who hasn't resided at my address in over two decades! I never allow them to get to the point of explaining their purpose, but when I ring back, the response is either CAH or CHH. Although the number claims to be based in Glasgow, the accents of the callers suggest they're more likely operating from somewhere in the southeast of England. You can distinctly hear the clatter of a call centre behind them. It's clear they're just cold calling about insurance claims!

Received a call today regarding an accident from six months back. I explained to them that I don’t drive. They inquired whether I was a passenger in this so-called collision, to which I responded in the negative. They kept asking if I had seen any mishap, and again I said no. I mentioned that as far as I'm aware, nobody in my circle has had an accident. However, the conversation became rather tedious, so I decided to cut it short and hang up.

When I mentioned this, she proceeded to ask if anyone else living with me had experienced an accident. I replied that it’s just me in this household, so that’s not feasible.
