I keep getting nonstop calls from this number even though I asked them to remove me from their list. They claim to be some sort of "Accident Investigation Company" trying to get details so they can send me a cheque. It’s ridiculous, you'd think something could be done to put a stop to these scams. Every time I block one 0141 number, they ring from a different one. Feels like someone must be letting them use these phone lines to carry on pestering people like this.

Picked up 'cause it was a local number and sounded like it might be genuine. They asked for me, but used my old name from over a decade ago. I just said, 'No, you've got the wrong number' every time they mentioned that name. Then they go on, 'Are you certain? It can't be her, right?' Seriously, what even?!

I decided to humour them and when I asked for the car’s registration number linked to the accident they claimed I was involved in, they suddenly hung up. They kept ringing me loads of times despite me telling them to stop and take my number off their list. First of all, they were asking for someone who moved out of my house over 20 years ago! I never get to hear what they actually want because I hang up straight away. When I did answer, it sounded like they said something like CAH or CHH. The number seems to be from Glasgow, but judging by the accents of the people calling, it’s probably some call centre down in the southeast of England. Could tell by the background noise too. Definitely those annoying insurance claim cold calls.

Got a call today about an accident they said happened like half a year ago. I told them straight away I don’t even drive. Then they asked if I was a passenger involved, and again I said no. Next, they wanted to know if I saw any crash - still no. I told them I don’t know anyone who’s been in any accident or anything like that, but honestly, she kept pressing so I had to just end the call.

Got a call asking about a car crash I was supposed to have been in. I told the lady I hadn't been in any accident and she then asked if anyone else in my house had one. I told her that was impossible cos I live alone. I then asked her to take my info off their list. She said she would, but I’m not holding my breath.
