BE WARNED! Don't fall for these scammers! If you get any dodgy calls or texts, you should report them straight to the police fraud team. Just Google ‘action fraud’ and head to the ‘police.uk’ website. Find the section about ‘reporting phishing’ and carefully read all the info there. Afterwards, fill out the scam report form with as much detail as you can, including any web links or addresses you might have. You don’t need to sign up or give personal info unless it involves you losing money. The only way the police can track these scams properly is if everyone reports them!

I received a call from an older lady who was eager to discuss loft insulation. When I probed a bit and asked which company she was affiliated with, she mentioned LOFT INSULATION SCOTLAND. Upon further questioning, she abruptly cut me off, as if I wasn’t grasping the situation. It seemed she wasn't too pleased that I was onto her little scheme!

Got a ring from this number from someone called "Linda". She was mumbling something I couldn’t quite catch, but she definitely asked for me by name and wanted to know if I own a property. I told her that was private and I don't deal with random calls like that. She then said she'd be getting in touch with the council or something. Now I’m just waiting to see if they actually follow through with a call, letter, or email.
