I got a call from someone claiming to be from Housing Disrepairs Services, following up on a complaint I supposedly made to a Housing Officer about a repair. They kept asking if that was correct. I asked again who they were, and the person just repeated the same info. Then, when I pressed for which housing officer they were talking about, they just ended the call. This is nothing but cold calling rubbish and really needs to be put to a stop!

Terrible connection on the phone, sounded like it came from some call centre. It was a bloke speaking with an Indian accent, kept repeating “hello” over and over. This happened about an hour after I rang 3 mobile to cancel my contract that was originally through a CPW-related firm. Fingers crossed I’m not now on some list that’s being sold around. I normally tell them to speak up louder cause I struggle to hear, keep doing it until they’re shouting or just hang up. Usually that stops the calls... until the next time anyway.

Someone rang saying they were from Carphone Warehouse and claimed they’d cover my Fold 3 contract worth £60 each month. Their deal was for me to switch to an S21 on a £30 monthly plan with them. When I asked if it was legit, I said it seemed dodgy, but they kept insisting it was genuine. Then they said they’d connect me to their manager, only to cut off the call about ten seconds later.
