Received a rather dubious call claiming to be from Fonehouse, enticing me with iPhones ranging from the 11 all the way to the 13 Pro Max 256GB for just £35 a month. After contacting Fonehouse directly, they confirmed they're aware of this situation but are powerless to act as the numbers seem to be constantly shifting. I even got an email from them about it. Just a heads up-steer clear of this scam!

Fraud Alert! This number claimed to be associated with O2, attempting to lure me in with some so-called discounts. Beware!

I found myself rather perplexed by the individual on the line, as her thick Indian accent made it tricky to grasp whom she was supposedly representing. She was going on about some discount on a phone, but I can't shake off the feeling it was more likely a scam.

Not sure how they pulled it off, but I got a call from them and my phone never actually rang. After seeing what folks say here, I'm definitely going to block them.

These people keep ringing me about some fantastic iphone offer. Every time I block one number, they just call from a different one. I’ve actually put over 10 different numbers on block in the past day. So, today I’ve wasted loads of their time by acting like I’m interested, making up silly names and fake bank details. They never catch on, even when I say I’m Emma Roids or give nonsense info. You’d assume they’d have knocked it on the head and removed my number by now.

Managed to snag an early upgrade with a better price than what EE was offering. The first handset had to be swapped out because of problems, but the replacement isn’t perfect either. Kinda makes me think they might be sending refurbished phones instead of brand new ones.

I got a call today from someone saying they were with Carphone Warehouse, trying to peddle the newest iPhone. The woman spoke so fast I could hardly catch what she was saying. When I told her I wasn’t interested, she pressed me to explain why. I told her I found it odd she had my number as I've never bought from or contacted them before. Then I asked her to take my details off their list, and she just hung up on me. Seems like I've had two other calls just today too, from 01388212006 and 02089544163. The last one was pretty hard to understand - maybe it was Carphone Warehouse, maybe not!
