I reckon it was a scam, cos after a bunch of calls that just hung up once I picked up, some bloke with a strong African accent (not sure exactly where from) rang me. I received a call claiming to be from Carphone Warehouse, trying to entice me with an improved deal on my mobile contract. I played along for a bit, and the chap on the other end promised me unlimited data, calls, and texts, either with Three for just £6 a month or Vodafone for a mere £4 monthly. I turned them down, yet since that day, I've been bombarded with four additional calls, all from different numbers but clearly the same bunch. Bloomin’ irritating plonkers!
