I got a really pushy call from someone claiming to be from British Gas, which is who I use for my gas and electric. They threatened that if I don’t renew my contract soon, they’ll cut off my supply in a couple days. This is actually the second time this person has rung me, they called just yesterday too. I’ve now checked with British Gas themselves and they told me it sounds like a scammer or perhaps another energy company pretending to be them.
