Just had a rather forceful phone call from an individual claiming to be with British Gas - my current supplier for both gas and electricity. They were adamant that if I didn’t renew my contract pronto, they'd be disconnecting my supply within the week! This is actually the second time this person has been in touch with me; they called yesterday as well. After discussing the matter with British Gas directly, it seems I’ve been targeted by a scammer or perhaps a rival energy provider. How very dodgy!
