Got a call from some foreign woman asking if she could talk to the lady of the house, then just hung up. Totally sounded like a scam to me.

I’ve had it up to here with these pesky nuisance calls. They just won’t leave me alone!

I received a call from someone claiming to be "Matt from Curry's PC World." It was clear this was just some scam from a call centre, most likely in India, given the accent. He attempted to pitch me a phone deal, which I immediately recognised as a complete sham. Quite deceptive, if you ask me!

I didn't answer, none of my contacts from that location showed up, so I just blocked the number.

My mate Ross actually got caught up in this once.

Got another call from these same numbers again - this makes the third time now. I’m definitely going to block it. Missed this one, couldn't pick up quick enough, but yesterday they said they were from Currys PC World. It's really starting to feel like harassment with how often they keep ringing.

I got a call from a guy with an Indian accent, but I had a hard time understanding him. He kept mentioning something about the "Network". Once I ended the call, I decided to block the number straight away.

This guy with an Indian accent ringed up saying he was from some PHONE PLANET COMPANY. Asked me about my phone model and which network I used. When I told him he was doing a cold call and that it’s against the rules, he quickly just ended the call!

Got a call from 01339358050, didn’t recognise the number at all - seemed like just some random cold call.

Got a call from some bloke claiming to be Matt from Currys, though I’m pretty sure that wasn’t his real name. It was obviously a spam call so I just ended the call straight away.

Got a dodgy call from some Indian call centre pretending to be from Scotland. I asked the bloke if he was actually in Wales and he said yes, which was a bit suspicious. I kept him chatting for about ten minutes, then when he started asking for bank info I told him where to go and he just hung up on me. Total scam.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from Currys or PC World. They were keen to offer me a mobile plan with unlimited texts and calls plus 100GB data for just £7 a month, and said I could switch networks without any fees. Sounds way too good to be true, probably a dodgy scam. I had to cut the call off pretty quickly before I could figure out exactly what the catch was.

I answered but stayed silent, then the call just dropped. Probably some spam robot dialling.

I got a call from this number but they just hung up straight away. Tried ringing back later but it popped up as an unknown number. Really strange.

This number is totally unfamiliar to me. It’s not showing up anywhere in my recent calls and I have no idea who could be behind it. I’m just going to block it!
