Just scroll down a bit, like 8 or so comments below here, and you’ll see some tips on how to report these scam calls and messages to the police fraud team and where to officially complain. Imagine if everyone who gets these calls or texts actually reported them - the authorities would have to step in and crack down on the scammers. If no one bothers to do anything, then it’s no surprise nothing gets done. It really does need all of us to take a stand whenever we get these dodgy calls or texts if we want them to stop.

Got a call from someone with a thick Indian accent claiming to be from 3, trying to pitch some unbelievable offer. They weren’t pushy or anything, just spoke quickly about the deal. I mentioned I was busy at work, and they just said, “Alright, thanks, bye” and hung up. Definitely just one of those random cold calls.

Got a call from a number claiming to be nearby but it was more like Angola than anywhere local. Total nonsense number and a dodgy phone offer. Honestly, it’s high time these annoying calls got blocked. I’ll be reporting it like that other comment said, not sure if it’ll change much but if loads of us keep flagging these scams, maybe something will actually happen.
