I just ignored the ring coz I had a feeling it could be one of those scams, so I've gone ahead and blocked the number now.

Received a call about some O2 mobile deal. I told them my hubby handles all our phone stuff. They then asked if he was free, and when I said no, they just cut the call. Similar thing happened last month - calls about broadband and phone deals from numbers that looked alike. When I requested details in writing, they just dropped the call straight away.

Got a call from someone saying they were from PC World or Currys, offering half price on a new phone! Total load of rubbish, obviously a scam. Blocked them straight away!

Definitely a scam, so best to just block them. They pretend to be from an internet company but it’s nothing genuine.

Received a call from a foreign woman, and I really struggled to grasp what she was saying. She didn’t take it well when I expressed that I wasn’t interested in whatever she was offering.

Definately sounded like a scam, so I just hung up and blocked the number straight away.

This was clearly a dodgy call pretending to be from EE!

Just left it ringing, didn’t bother picking up!

Got a call from this number earlier but didn't answer coz my phone flagged it as a possible scam, so I've gone ahead and blocked it.

Picked up and had to say hi two times before they finally answered. They claimed they were ringing from some mobile provider and asked if I wanted a new phone and SIM with a “great deal”. I said no, and then they asked why not. Told them I didn’t really want one, and they just said alright, goodbye. Definitely sounds like a scam to me.

I picked up the phone and at first there was silence. I said "hello" a couple of times before the caller finally spoke, saying he was from EE and asked how I was doing. I told him I wasn't interested and then ended the call. He had an accent that wasn't local. I've since blocked the number.

I just got a call from this number, and the woman on the line spoke with an accent and seemed really unsure about what she was saying. Pretty obvious it was a scam.

I didn’t answer cause I didn’t know who it was, just let it ring out and marked it as a spam nuisance.

Got a call warning my internet was gonna be cut off for a day because of some illegal stuff, and then they said to press 1 to sort it out. Pretty sure it was a scam.

Got two calls from this number earlier today, picked up both times but the person just ended the call straight away. Looks like a scam, watch out!
