A young lady called me and used my name, claiming to represent the energy advice centre. I quickly told her I wasn’t keen on what she was offering and hung up. I've since blocked the number. Even though I'm registered with the TPS, it doesn’t seem to help at all.

This number is quite alarming, I’ve had to block it as it keeps pestering me. Just a heads up, stay vigilant!

Received a call around elevenish this morning. It was from a young lady speaking in a lovely southern English accent, claiming to be from the energy advice centre. I mentioned that I’m registered with the Telephone Preference Service, which prevents them from ringing me up. She assured me she would remove my number from their list. Time will tell if that actually happens!

I received a rather peculiar silent call from 01327 222552. It seemed there was some background din, suggesting it might be a bustling contact centre. It sounded like the operatives weren't quite prepared to handle calls from an auto-dialler. Quite the odd experience, I must say!
