I received a call intended for my elderly mother; upon informing the caller that she was resting and that I was her daughter, the line went dead rather abruptly. It's quite frustrating, and I really do wish they would cease this sort of nonsense. It's distressing enough for anyone, especially for someone who's over ninety, don't you think?

I received a dubious call from a company seeking my father-in-law's details. When I declined to engage, they promptly terminated the call. It's evident that they're either running a scam or are simply another cold caller trying to push their marketing agendas. I've already registered with the Telephone Preference Service, so I shouldn't have to deal with this nonsense!

I've discovered that there's a scam call centre operating from Woodford Halse. Despite me informing them I'm registered with the Telephone Preference Service, they persistently kept ringing me. The name of the company? Renewable Tech. Quite the nuisance, I must say!

Received a call from the energy advisory centre earlier. A delightful young lady chatted with me and took down a few details to check if I'm eligible for any government schemes. She mentioned that I should expect a follow-up call if I qualify.

I received a call from the energy advice centre, and the person on the line claimed they weren't attempting to sell me anything. They simply wanted to check if I might be eligible for savings on my energy costs. I informed them that I was quite satisfied with my existing supplier, and just like that, the call ended abruptly.

Fortunately, I happened to be away from home when this occurred. It's good to know it's not against the law. Now let's make sure these numpties get what they deserve!

Rang around five to seven in the evening. When I picked up, they hung up straight away. What a bothersome caller!

@english chap (for a change) gave my landline a ring and asked for me directly. I enquired who was on the other end, and he let out a groan before abruptly hanging up. What’s the point of mentioning my name only to cut the call? It’s quite baffling! These sorts really ought to be sorted out!

Received a call from someone who referred to me using my mum's name, inquiring whether I owned the property. When I questioned how they knew my mother's name, they simply ended the call. Quite cheeky, if you ask me!

I missed the call and honestly, I've got no connections in Daventry. Seems like it might have been a telemarketing attempt.
