Got a call just now, some guy shouting “HI THIS IS CARPHONE WAREHOUSE, can I have a minute please?” and in the background a lady clearly says “this is EE.” I tried to tell him “I don’t reckon you’re from Carphone W…” then he just cut me off. Watch out, this number’s a con. They claimed to be from EE and I got tricked into sharing some info. Next thing I knew, they were attempting to break into my EE account. Luckily, I managed to reach the legitimate EE customer service before any damage was done and everything got sorted.
