So this number claimed to be from O2, offering some kind of discount on my bill. I’ve had a similar call before, so I rang O2 directly to check, and yep, it was a scam. I picked up but ended the call pretty quick - probably just another dodgy scammer trying it on.

I received a call from 01313813869, purporting to be from Vodafone. Naturally, I was rather sceptical. They were touting a £50 monthly discount, supposedly as a result of my previous grievances. When I inquired about their location, the response felt scripted and entirely unconvincing. It's clearly a scam!

I received a call claiming to be from O2, touting some sort of discount. However, when I requested them to confirm my address, they promptly hung up on me. Quite suspicious, really!

I happened to be on my landline when a call came through on my mobile, so I couldn't pick it up straight away. The phone didn't ring for long at all, and apparently, my mobile flagged it as spam.

I received a call from someone claiming to be from O2, but since I’m not a customer of theirs, I decided to end the call promptly.

I picked up the phone, but all I could hear was a cacophony reminiscent of a dodgy call centre. The caller didn’t utter a single word, so I promptly hung up and added the number to my block list. Honestly, we’re utterly fed up with these incessant calls and typically let them ring out without picking up.

Got a call today from someone who said, "Hi, I'm 'strange name' from your network provider. How's it going?" I just ended the call straight away. I always hang up when a random number calls and starts with that kind of chit-chat.

My mobile showed this number as spam, so I didn’t pick up. They rang my home phone too, which was a bit annoying.

Had this annoying call from someone claiming to be with fonehouse.co.uk. They gave me a website and were pushing to get me into a contract for an iphone15. I tried to figure out why the number didn’t match the company’s real contact details or the website number, but stuff they said about other firms using the same number confused me even more. When I bluntly asked if they felt guilty about scamming people and if they had thought about changing their ways, they just cut the call.

Got a call telling me I could get a 30% discount on my phone, just by repeating a code they gave me. Turns out if you say it, they can get into your phone and grab your info. Definitely avoid it!

Received a call claiming to be from O2, informing me that my number was eligible for a 30% discount on some offer. The problem is, I'm not even an O2 customer! It felt really dodgy, the line was terrible, and they promptly rang back as soon as I indicated I wasn’t keen. Definitely raises red flags in my book!

Absolutely a dodgy operation this one! It's eerily identical to what someone else mentioned. They pretended to be from O2, which is a company I've never had any dealings with.

They claimed to be from Vodafone, attempting to entice me with a discount on the latest iPhone. The caller had an Indian accent, the line was crackly, and their manner was quite brusque. It was clearly a scam; there’s no way they were actually representing Vodafone!

Received a call purporting to be from O2, claiming they could offer me a staggering 40% off my bill. While I do use O2, I can't help but feel quite wary of unsolicited calls like these. I began probing them for more information, and suddenly, they hung up. Something felt off for sure - definitely a dodgy call, possibly even a scam. I made sure not to divulge any personal details.

Received a call purportedly from O2, saying I was entitled to a 40% discount. When I pointed out that I'm not actually an O2 customer, there was a noticeable silence followed by some chuckles in the background. Absolutely a scam, without a doubt!

Beware of O2 fraudsters! They’ll reach out to you under the guise of needing verification of a security code that they’ve triggered via the O2 website, utilising the mobile number and email address they’ve somehow obtained. This ruse lets them reset your account password, paving the way for them to seize control. Their endgame? To procure a top-of-the-range gadget, typically a Samsung or an iPhone/iPad, and then intercept the delivery right at your doorstep. Absolute lowlifes, I tell you!

Initially, I was convinced it was a dodgy call, but I figured I ought to share my experience to highlight what they're up to. The person on the other end claimed to be from Vodafone. Almost straight away, I received a text from Vodafone containing a code that read: “Keep this code confidential. If anyone requests it, they are likely a scammer. Scammers can utilize it to hijack your mobile number, which could potentially lead them to your bank details. Be mindful that the code is only valid for 20 minutes. Your code is ******”

I received a rather suspicious call on my mobile earlier today. The voice on the other end was a woman, likely from India or somewhere similar, and her accent made it quite challenging to follow the conversation. There was a noticeable din of call centre noise in the background as well. She claimed to be offering me a Vodafone deal, but as soon as I wasn't engaging with her pitch, she simply hung up. I've gone ahead and blocked the number-better safe than sorry, I reckon!

I've been inundated with calls from a plethora of unfamiliar numbers, spanning various countries. It's becoming quite the nuisance! Someone really ought to step up and track down the culprit behind this - it must be a dodgy scam operation for sure!

I received a dodgy call from someone claiming to be with Vodafone, promising me a 40% discount. When I requested a number to call them back, they flatly refused and then ended the call abruptly! Concerned, I rang Vodafone directly to verify, and they confirmed it wasn’t them. They even logged the number that called me, just in case something out of the ordinary happens with my account! How cheeky of these scammers!

I received a call from a hidden number initially, which was then followed by a ring from this particular number. They identified themselves as being from O2, but I clearly stated I wasn't interested in whatever they were offering. To my surprise, they tried calling me back again! I reiterated that I had no desire for their services. It’s undoubtedly a scam!

I've encountered a right dodgy character, seemingly operating out of Bangladesh yet masquerading with a UK phone number. I had a bit of a laugh with him before I dropped the bombshell that I knew he was a fraudster. I even put on a voice like an elderly Indian woman to test if they were focusing on vulnerable white ladies, but it turns out they're not picky about whom they con-scamming anyone they can. Best to avoid picking up calls from these tricksters, folks!

Received a call earlier from an Indian chap claiming to be from EE. When I queried whether he was situated in the UK, he merely insisted he was representing EE. I mentioned I had no inkling about who he was or what he wanted, so I ended the conversation. He tried to ring me back after that, and then from another 0131 number that finished with ...7131. I've promptly added both to my block list. It's quite unusual for someone to keep pestering like that - he must really be in a bind!
