Some bloke called Kevin from the life team rang me and asked for me by my first name. When I asked who he was, he said he wanted to chat about my current life insurance. I told him nicely that I’m good, thanks, no interest. Who are these lot, and why do they reckon I need their help? I’m not just sitting around waiting for some random stranger to call and sort out my life. I manage just fine on my own. Just ignore ’em, they’re a right pain in the neck.

Got a call from a bloke asking for Mr or Mrs. He said he was calling from some Life Insurance company and mentioned it had been ages since we last checked our policy. Asked if I wanted to do a review then and there. I told him no thanks, my husband sorts that out since we’ve got our cover through the Police Federation. He sort of gasped and said, “Ah, that makes sense.” Then quickly said he’d note it and ended the call. Bet he’s going to remember that one!

I asked plenty of questions but they couldn’t give me a clear answer about which insurer they were from. Smelled like a scam so I told them to jog on and hung up. Then a few hours later I got a call from 01132100898 but when I picked up, no one said anything, just dead silence.

Avoid these lot! They call themselves "Life Team" supposedly out of Dubai but they don’t even have a proper website. Complete con artists. Told them once if they rung my number again it would be *them* that needed to sort out some life insurance, but they just don’t care about TPS rules. Total waste of time.
