Got a call where the guy asked for me by my first name, said something about a "non fault accident" I'd supposedly been in. I told him nicely I'd never had anything like that. The bloke was tough to make out, sounded all slurred like he was faking a Scottish accent or summat. Think he mentioned Hanz Legal and said his name was Brian or something.

There was a pause before I picked up, then some random person rang me by my first name, claiming they wanted to talk about a car crash that never even happened. I only took the call since the number looked like it was from Edinburgh. Really wish they would put an end to this nonsense, it wastes so much of our time and cash.

Answered it cos it was an Edinburgh code and I got family there at the moment. They used my first name straight away. Foolishly, I told them my name. They said, 'Just ringing about a recent fender bender you had'. I said, 'No'. They went 'No?!' I said 'No' again and then they just cut me off.

I've received a rather dubious call from a firm claiming to be the Ambassador, saying they're inquiring about some accident of mine. The trouble is, I've never had any such mishap!
