I keep getting relentless calls from this number and I've no clue who's behind it. Can someone please block it from my phone? Thank you!

This number has been calling me loads! I always hang up as soon as it rings, so now it’s blocked on my phone.

This number has rung me loads of times. Since some of my relatives live in Edinburgh, I thought it might be them and answered once. The moment I said hello, I could hear all this background noise like it was coming from a call centre, then they just cut off the call! Got about 5 missed calls from them over the past 3 days!

I wasn’t really paying attention and called the number back, only to hear an American voice saying the number’s not in service. To me, that just screams SPAM. Definitely BLOCKED!!

I can verify that they identified themselves as “Collins Morgan” and mentioned something about a “recent law introduced in Scotland aimed at assisting individuals with debt repayment issues.” It has all the hallmarks of a scam, especially since I’ve been bombarded with calls from them nearly every day for the last fortnight, but only picked up today.

Received a rather dodgy call from someone who insisted I had an outstanding debt. They were familiar with my name but completely lacking in specifics regarding the alleged debt. The chap had what sounded like a wee Scottish accent, and he came across as rather professional, really pushing about debt management in Scotland. He seemed to have a bit of knowledge surrounding Scottish legal terms, but I managed to catch him out on a few details. It was clear he was a charlatan. This caller is fishing for your personal and banking details, claiming it’s all to assist you-how laughable! It's an utter scam; never divulge anything, not even your name or address! Just hang up and block the number on your mobile. - Caller: Fraudulent debt management outfit purportedly from Scotland.

I received three calls from this number earlier today. On the first two occasions, the line cut off as soon as I picked up - not a single word uttered! The third time, I was left hanging for a good 30 to 40 seconds, repeatedly saying hello, until they finally disconnected. During that time, I could make out the sounds of voices on the line; it appeared to be a man and a woman, both speaking in what sounded like Indian accents. I attempted to return the call but to no avail. When I contacted the BT operator for assistance, they confirmed that this number refuses to accept incoming calls. The operator advised me to exercise caution, mentioning that numbers like this are often linked to scams, predominantly orchestrated by Indian and Russian syndicates here in the UK. After sharing my experience regarding the voices I had heard, the operator seemed to agree that it was likely a scam. I've now reported this number to my local police station. The officer assured me it would be forwarded to the appropriate authorities in Scotland, where this line appears to be run from. Being on an ex-directory phone line in Devon, I find it puzzling how they managed to obtain my details in the first place; it seems someone is selling off private information. Given that I'm in the Armed Forces, I've requested that BT change my number to ensure my privacy. - Caller: UNKNOWN, possibly a scam.
